Missions

Here at Christian Hills, we maintain a strong focus on missions, both local and abroad. As a church, we support six home-grown missionaries. We also offer multiple open-invitation mission trips where we encourage anyone who feels called to participate. While the missionaries need and love financial support, the most powerful support you can offer is prayer. Check out what our missionaires are doing and stay in touch.

If you feel led to offer financial support, in any capacity, you can do so by:

1.Send a check with the missionaries name or just "missions" in the memo
2. You can donate online by clicking here.

Meet The Missionaries

Tony & Azucena Simon
La Fuente Ministries, Mexico

Tony and Azucena Simon have been ministering in Mexico for over ten years. They lived in Mazatlan for more than three years where they helped start two churches. They have now been living in Tepic for more than six years and are on staff as associate pastors in La Fuente. Tony and Azucena work together with a team of six other couples to start new churches in the villages surrounding Tepic. Tony and Azucena have headed up four church plants here in Tepic and plan to be part of twenty in the area. They have two daughters, Andrea Jaqueline and Vanessa Zoe.

Barb Sobol
Mexico

Barb is a missionary in Mexico helping to shepherd the Purepeche Indians in the remote mountain area outside of Urapan, Michoacan. As a nurse, she organizes medical brigades and ministers to this people group by helping to meet some of their basic needs. Some of her projects include putting cement floors in the kitchens of the Purepeche Indian homes and building chimneys, along with providing supplies such as blankets and sweaters. She has helped to establish a church community in the village of San Isidro. Please pray for Barb's ongoing transportation needs as accessing the villiages is often treacherous on washed out roads and always hard on her vehicle. One of her goals is to see the church in San Isidro as well established and run by the Purapeche Indians. Then she will go on to plant a church in another village.

Anna serves as an administrator and teacher for Youth With A Mission, but also trains missionary teachers from other nations to establish Christian Schools in their areas. While Anna currently serves stateside, she has also ministired in Mexico, Brazil, Haiti, Bulgaria, Albania, Croatia and Turkey.
